The set contains six different Orthodox motifs used to create dough decorations that are placed on the slava bread. The stamps include:
Three-finger cross – the main Orthodox symbol placed in the center of the bread
Wheat stalks (two pieces) – symbolizing a fruitful year and prosperity
Doves (two birds) – representing health, joy, and peace in the home
Flower/rosette – decorative element
Book (Gospel) with “IC XC NIKA” inscription – symbolizing faith and Christian values
Barrel – traditional decorative element
The stamps are made from biodegradable, eco-friendly PLA plastic that is food-safe. They are used by rolling out a thin layer of special firm dough (flour, cornstarch, salt, and water), pressing the stamp to create the shape, then allowing it to dry for a day before baking the bread. The dried white decorations are attached to the bread using egg wash or holy water before baking, retaining their white color and clear shape.
