The Slava set is a handcrafted ceramic ensemble containing all necessary items for celebrating the Slava – the family patron saint feast among Serbian Orthodox Christians. The set consists of four main pieces shown in the images: a censer with a lid topped by a cross for burning incense during Slava prayers, a chalice/goblet on a stand for Slava wine, a bowl for žito (boiled wheat grain mixed with sugar and nuts), and a candlestick for the Slava candle. All pieces are made from ceramics in a warm beige/caramel color with a glazed surface giving a shiny, glassy appearance.
