Serbian tricolor bracelet – a handmade Orthodox prayer bracelet with 33 knots in red, white, and blue, adorned with a silver Orthodox cross.​

​The brojanica is a traditional Serbian Orthodox prayer rope used for counting repetitions of the Jesus Prayer (“Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner”) during prayer. This special brojanica has 33 knots – a number symbolizing the years of Christ’s earthly life. It is braided in three sections featuring Serbian flag colors: red represents martyrs’ blood and courage, white symbolizes purity and truth, and blue represents heaven and faith. At the center sits a small silver Orthodox cross serving as the starting point for prayer and a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice.

​Orthodox believers use the brojanica by holding it in one hand and moving from knot to knot while reciting the prayer, aiding concentration and counting repetitions.
